Background: Fat Bandicoot has an active mariculture project (0007), but the hull requires extensive renovation before research can proceed.

Summary of proposed changes: The hull needs repainting, and the superstructure needs replacing, using the same e-glass fibres and polyester resin as originally used to build it.

How will this proposal advance the objectives of the Association? It will provide knowledge of how to produce food sustainably and securely without cultivating increasingly scarce dry land. This is partiularly relevant in an era of rising sea levels, increased storm surges, and human population growth.

Will or might this proposal lead to the Association trading while insolvent? No, nothing will be purchased on credit
